Do Payless Chemists charge sales tax?

All Australian sales taxes (GST) are included in prices and will be paid by Payless Chemists. Payless Chemists cannot accept responsibility for any applicable destination duty and taxes as well as clearance charges that may be levied outside Australia.

What are my payment options?

There are five methods of payment available: On-line credit card payment, BPAY Order on-line and phone through credit card details. (Phone:  +61 7 4773 6100 or 1800 356 517) Fax order and pay by credit card, (Fax: +61 7 4723 1128) Post order and pay by cheque or credit card.

How do I fill my prescription at Payless Chemists?

You must have consulted a doctor in Australia and the prescription must be signed by a Australian registered Medical Practitioner. The original prescription must be posted to: Payless Chemists Willows Shoppingtown P.O Box 1066 Thuringowa Central, QLD 4817 Australia You will need to supply an e-mail address and/or telephone number so that a pharmacist can contact you, if it is necessary discuss your prescription with you. You can speak with our pharmacists personally any time during business hours (8.30am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 9.00pm Thursdays, 8.30am - 6.00pm Saturdays, 8.30am - 2.00pm Sundays ) on 1800 356 517 Can I order prescription items if I don't live in Australia? Yes, but you must have an Australian prescription written by an Australian registered Doctor. We cannot accept international prescriptions.

Is my information safe?

Payless Chemists uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) as its internet protocol for safely transferring information over the web. When you send us sensitive information such as your credit card number or medical information it is encrypted so that the only one who can read it is you and the person you are contacting at Payless Chemists. Any information collected by Payless Chemists is strictly confidential. We do not provide this information to any other party for any purposes.

Do I have to set up a customer record?

You can browse the Payless Chemists site without registering and setting up a customer record. Registering with Payless Chemists VIP Services allows you to take advantage of our personalised services such as filling prescriptions, creating a regular shopping list, gift wrapping service and your order history, notification of specials and new products in your areas of interest. It's a fast, easy, confidential process that only takes a minute.

How do I keep track of my items while shopping?

In the basket on the left side of the page you will see the items you have added to your basket. You can easily remove items or change quantities in the basket. For Australian customers, you will also see how many dollars you are away from receiving free delivery of your order.

I can't find the item I want. What should I do?

Payless Chemists has a full search engine - just type in the keywords for the item you are looking for. If you still can't find the product e-mail us at Payless Chemists.

What are VIP Services?

VIP Services are FREE services designed to save you time when you visit Payless Chemists. Registration as a VIP customer will enable us to personalise the information displayed on the site to your specific needs. In addition your order details, repeats and history will be stored securely on the server for ease of access on your next visit.
