When you are exposed to something you are allergic to, your body makes something called histamine. Histamine causes you to have allergy symptoms. Things like sneezing and itchy eyes. ZYRTEC® (cetirizine HCl) is an antihistamine, which helps block the action of histamine to help relieve you of your indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms. Most people who suffer from allergies have many symptoms. ZYRTEC helps relieve: itchy, red, watery eyes sneezing and runny, itchy nose postnasal drip itching from hives ZYRTEC-D 12 HOUR® (cetirizine HCl 5 mg/pseudoephedrine HCl 120 mg) Extended Release Tablets help relieve: itchy, red, watery eyes sneezing and runny, itchy nose postnasal drip nasal congestion (stuffy nose) In clinical studies, people taking ZYRTEC were relieved of their symptoms within 1 hour. Studies show that symptom relief from a single dose of ZYRTEC lasts 24 hours.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet daily with or without food. Children 6-12 years: 1/2 tablet twice daily with or without food.

Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg.
